Active Trim automatically responds to boat maneuvers with GPS speed-based precision, delivering a better overall driving experience with no knowledge of trimming an engine needed. The system can be enabled with DTS digital controls, Vessel View displays or by a standalone dash pad.
Automatic Precision with Full Control
The Active Trim system includes five built-in trim profiles that can be selected based on driver preference. As the boat accelerates, the system automatically trims the engine out. Upon deceleration, like when making a turn, the engine trims in. Auto trim settings can be manually overridden to compensate for changes in boat load, driver preferences and weather conditions.
Wide Engine Compatibility
Active Trim works with most Mercury engines in single or multiple installations, including:
- Mercury FourStroke outboards from 40 to 600hp
- Mercury SmartCraft®-capable OptiMax® two-stroke outboards
- MerCruiser® SmartCraft-capable gas and diesel inboard and sterndrive engines with digital trim senders
